It is the mission of our Philadelphia pool service, DS Pool Service, Inc., (DSPS), to completely satisfy the needs of swimming pool owners in the southeastern region of Pennsylvania in the following counties: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia, as well as the entire state of Delaware.
Whether it is a pool opening or closing, an equipment repair or replacement, or weekly service, the goal of DSPS is to allow its customers to “Just jump in!” when it comes to their pool. Homeowners shouldn’t have to worry about their pool; they should be able to come home from a hard day’s work and enjoy their backyard, inground pool in PA. Weekends should be spent with family and friends enjoying the pool, not repairing, cleaning, or balancing chemicals. Through our service and pricing structure, customers are encouraged to have DSPS provide ongoing maintenance of their pools from opening through closing so they are able to “Just jump in!” There are many pool service companies and pool cleaners in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, but only one is the best – DS Pool Service, Inc.
The DSPS Difference: “Just jump in!”
The difference between DSPS and other pool service companies is that DSPS is an all-inclusive company. Specifically, DSPS includes the items in its services that other pool service companies offer as options. For example, at a spring season pool opening, while other companies offer chemicals and vacuuming at additional charges, DSPS includes chemicals and vacuuming as a standard core service. Another example is that for weekly service, DSPS provides and utilizes the chemicals that are needed to properly treat the pool, whereas other companies use customer-provided chemicals or retail them to the customers at an additional cost based on what is used. DSPS understands that there are customers that will not want all-inclusive service and will prefer a la carte options. As such, DSPS also offers a la carte pricing if requested, but will continue to emphasize the all-inclusive, “Just jump in!” experience.
The distinction of what services are included for a given price point is stressed so that customers understand that they are getting complete service and competitive pricing from DSPS as compared to other service providers. By offering all-inclusive services, DSPS can avoid confusion on what is included and what is not. Furthermore, DSPS takes the position that no request by a customer is too small and every need should be met within reason. Our customers will come to expect and enjoy the highest level of customer service. Our customers should be able to “Just jump in!” and let DSPS do the rest.

Sean comes to DSPS with eleven years of experience in the swimming pool industry. While attending the University of Michigan and obtaining a BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering, Sean worked as seasonal help at the West Chester, PA retail store of Carlton Pools, Inc. After the completion of his degree and following a brief tenure as a safety inspector for J.F. Sobieski in Elsmere, DE, Sean returned to Carlton Pools, Inc. in their retail store in West Chester, PA. In the spring of 2004 a position was created for Sean within Carlton Pools, Inc. in which he performed field service work as well as fielding customer service requests while at the West Chester, PA location. In September of 2004, Sean advanced to the service department at the corporate office of Carlton Pools, Inc. in Warminster, PA where he was responsible for customer service, scheduling of service work, and the oversight of three specific service crews as well as general oversight of the entire service department composed of two other service managers as well as eight service field crews. In 2008 Sean was promoted to Director of Service Operations. Sean is also a Certified Pool and Spa Operator as well as a Certified Pool and Spa Operator Instructor. He has also completed certifications from Jack’s Magic as a Certified Stain Specialist, and from Zodiac Pool Systems as a Service Technician. Sean looks forward to earning the trust and respect of all customers.
Dustin comes to DSPS with twelve years of experience in the swimming pool industry. Dustin began his tenure in the pool industry in the fall of 2000 working for Paragon Pool Service in Royersford, PA. During high school, he worked weekends in the service department closing and opening pools. Dustin then began working full time for Paragon Pool Service in June of 2001 and continued there until May of 2004. Dustin was then hired into the service department of Carlton Pools, Inc. in the spring of 2006 after a brief hiatus from the pool industry. Dustin started in a helper position within the department and quickly moved up to a crew leader position. When Carlton Pools, Inc. initiated its first satellite service office out of its Collegeville, PA location, Dustin was chosen to lead that initiative. Dustin has completed a certification from Jack’s Magic as a Certified Stain Specialist. As well as being SCUBA certified, Dustin has completed a Zodiac Pool Systems Technical Service School Controls Course, and is a Certified Pool Operator (CPO). Dustin’s strengths are his attitude and ability to relate to customers.
